that no one can ever seem to find
a cyclical pattern, a simple slide
reality will find a space to hide
enclosed here is wonder, enclosed is a reel
a movie you watch to make you feel
a book you read that becomes your best friend
with a character you love, even if it is only pretend
there's a whole world out there, of adventures and romance
a person to fall in love with at just the first glance
a memory so sweet, so soft and so kind
this is the place
